Californian chart-troublers The Offspring like to keep their fans closely in the loop. The band has posted a news bulletin on its website ensuring Australian audiences their plane tickets are booked for Soundwave Festival.

“Obviously, we can- œt give out the exact details of the flight, for security reasons,” singer Dexter Holland elaborates. “Let- œs just say it- œs big, it- œs an airplane, it- œs taking off from Los Angeles, and it- œs gonna kick ass.” Well, good to know.

Rather cryptically, axe man Noodles adds, “You can lead a horse to water, but you can- œt make him drink.”
