The Matches make A Band InHope

Oakland-based four-piece The Matches is set to release its third studio album, A Band In Hope, on 15 March through Epitath Records. If it’s anything like its predecessors, expect an artful blend of indie and pop, carried by Shawn Harris’s affecting lead vocals.

The album was produced by, among others, John Feldmann, who’s worked for Story of the Year and the Used, and Mike Green, he of Paramore and Good Charlotte fame.

“The portrait is more honest, exposed and layered than we’ve ever been able to achieve,” enthuses Harris in the press notes. “A pendulum’s sway between hope and despair.”

Here’s the tracklist for A Band In Hope. The lead single is set to be Point Me Toward The Morning.
