Gnarls Barkley birth The OddCouple
Wed 30th Jan, 2008 in International News
All has been quiet on the Gnarls Barkley front since they romped into Australia for V Festival 2007 – but that’s about to change. The prodigious pair will release its second album, The Odd Couple, in April on Downtown/Atlantic.
Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse’s previous record, St. Elsewhere, was a runaway success, shifting 1.345 million units in the US alone. Details are scarce on The Odd Couple, but Danger Mouse is in good form right now (no surprises there). His recent production credits include new LPs from the Black Keys, Martina Topley-Bird and The Shortwave Set.
The promising lead single from The Odd Couple, Run, has been officially leaked on the web. Have a listen to it here – unfortunately there’s no pretty video to go with it yet.
