You thought he was just some peace-lovin’, Fair Trade-campaignin’ softie, didn’t you? Well, Chris Martin, frontman for stadium-sentimentalists Coldplay, has followed Bjork’s lead and attacked a paparazzo.
The incident occurred when the singer walked out of New York’s Mount Sinai Medical Center with his wife Gwyneth Paltrow, who is rumoured to be pregnant. A British photographer stationed outside made the mistake of saying, “Congratulations Chris.” With a scream of “Have some fucking respect!”, Martin (looking the part in a big black hoodie) tackled the unsuspecting pap to the ground and snatched his camera. Sure, he gave it back, but that’s pretty bad-ass…
