It’s a staple in the CD stacks of most rock fans, and now Beck’s 1996 album Odelay is set to be re-released as a brand spankin’ new Deluxe Edition.
Due in late January, the two-disc package will feature a whole 19 extra tracks not available on the original version. From the original studio sessions come unreleased rarities Inferno and Gold Chains. Then there are three remixes by Aphex Twin, UNKLE and Mickey P, a swag b-sides, one cover of Skip James, and – most curious of all – a Spanish language mariachi version of Jackass called Burro. Now, that’ll be worth a listen.
