Amy Winehouse's near-nakedstroll

The time draws near when we shall leave Amy Winehouse alone, but the falling-apart star has made tabloid headlines again with some A-grade trashbag behaviour on the streets of London.

Having wisely cancelled her national tour, Winehouse was unwisely seen emerging from a friend’s North London house in at 5:45am on the morning of Sunday December 2, dressed only in jeans and a bra. The look on her face says it all – she clearly wasn’t out for a fresh morning stroll.

Onlookers (no doubt in similar states to her own) said the singer look disoriented and distressed as she stumbled about on the pavement.

Winehouse’s mother-in-law, Georgette Civil, had these encouraging words. “Amy is still using drugs when [her husband] Blake’s in prison. She is using more cocaine and heroin now than ever. She can’t stop crying and keeps saying all she wants is peace. She’s not eating or sleeping properly and is in pieces.”

The UK rags are having a field day, but here at FasterLouder we may need to adopt the insolent-child approach: ignore her for a while and hope she comes good.
