Kyle Minogue has informed UK paper The Sun that she will kick off a massive world tour next year, just days after her 40th birthday on May 28.
Helping bring the Minogue magic to the stage will be Kylie’s long time pal, designer William Blake – his job – to make the concerts as fabulous as possible.
Says Blake: “I am so busy. I’m heading back into the studio with Kylie in February to start training for the tour we want to do in June.
“It’s going to be fabulous. I have a couple of ideas but they need a bit of work. It takes ages to pull it all together so we want to take out time on it.”
Minogue will release her new album X this November – the album is her first studio effort in four years. Minogue recently revealed that the long time period between albums was a conscious decision as she attempted to maintain a more healthy workload after her battle with cancer which resulted in the singer having a partial mastectomy and chemotherapy.
Minogue commented: “I’ve decided that from now on, I’d like to do working days. Like nine-to-five hours, no more working from 5am til 2am. Those are the main changes I’ve tried to make, because I can be my own worst enemy.
“I want to keep on finding my perfect harmony within my life and my work. And a family, yeah, that’s something I’d love.”
