The John Butler Trio, Triple J and JTV Live are proud to present a free concert in Federation Square on Thursday April 5.



The John Butler Trio will play their new album Grand National live on stage with the musicians who helped make it, including the horn section, string section, Vika and Linda Bull, Jex Saarelaht and more. The John Butler Trio – live at Federation Square – is a one-off performance for one show only.



The Triple J Live music team and JTV live will be there to record the event for broadcast at a later date. This will be a momentous experience not to be missed!



Grand National sees its release in over 15 countries through March and April starting here in Australia. The new album was introduced to Australian audiences late last year via the hit single ‘Funky Tonight’. The new radio track ‘Good Excuse’ is currently surfing the airwaves right around the country. A new video for the song will be with TV at the end of the month.



A national tour for Grand National will be forthcoming. In the interim, you can catch The John Butler Trio for free next week at Federation Square – presented by Triple J and JTV.
