Organisers of the Gravity Games have confirmed details of a series of free gigs as part of next week’s extravaganza.
On December 8, The Reserves hit the stage at McCallum Park next to the river in Victoria Park while Calerway have been announced to close the night.
The following day, The Yeah Nahs open the stage before Gigantic and Sugar Army bring their tunes to the foreshore. The games wrap up on Sunday December 10 with an afternoon gig from Antistatic.
The free performances complete a stellar bill for this year’s games. Things kick off with the G-Fest on Thursday night from 5pm, which features American band Aiden, local heroes Gyroscope, Kisschasy, Parkway Drive, Goodnight Nurse and The Getaway Plan. Some tickets are still available for G-Fest at just $44+bf through BOCS outlets, 78 Records, Mill’s Records, Planet Video and Live clothing stores but you’ll have to be quick.
Playing times for the free gigs are as follows:
Friday:
1.45: The Reserves
5.50: Calerway
Saturday:
4.00: The Yeah Nahs
6.20: Gigantic
7.25: Sugar Army
Sunday:
