Following the success of the inaugural MTV Australia Video Music Awards, held at Luna Park earlier in 2005, initial details of the 2006 ceremony have now been made public.
 
In 2006 the awards will move on to a substantially larger venue, the Sydney Superdome at Homebush, where the ARIA Awards were recently held. The date for the ceremony has also been announced for April 12th, and the organisers are promising that the event will be a musical extravaganza with stars from across the globe.

Hosted by the Osbourne family in 2005, only time will tell who will be holding the presenters mic in 2006… Stay tuned to FasterLouder for updates.
