Gwar, Amon Amarth, Satyricon, and The Black Dahlia Murdersidewaves

Intergalactic thrash metal, Swedish death metal, Norwegian black metal, and brutal American deathcore – this sidewave lineup has it all.

Gwar, Amon Amarth, Satyricon, and The Black Dahlia Murder are joining forces for two unholy nights of punishment at Soundwave sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne. The four acts will destroy Sydney’s Factory Theatre on Wednesday, February 26 before fleeing the scene and setting their sights on 170 Russell in Melbourne. All four bands unleashed new albums in 2013 so expect to hear material from Gwar’s Battle Maximus, Amon Amarth’s Deceiver of the Gods, Satyricon’s self-titled record and The Black Dahlia Murder’s Everblack.

I ask again: Why would you live in Brisbane if you wanted to see sidewaves? Or live music, for that matter.

Gwar?

That's good!

Satyricon?

That's bad.
