Justin Timberlake confirms2014 Australian tour

Justin Timberlake will tour Australia in 2014 as part of The 20/20 Experience World Tour.

Following his co-headlining “Legends of the Summer” American tour with Jay-Z, which wraps up in August, JT will take a few months off before kicking off his first headline tour in six years at the end of October.

So far only the first leg of the 20/20 Experience World Tour dates have been revealed but, according to Billboard, additional shows in shows in North America, Europe, South America, and Australia will be added to the tour schedule. The opening run of dates runs from October until February with shows in Canada and America.

Timberlake’s 2014 Australian visit will be his first since the 2007 FutureSex/LoveSounds tour, which featured 12 arena shows and stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. His Justified World Tour also visited the east coast of Australia in 2004 for seven gigs.

After taking seven years to follow up on 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds, Justin Timberlake will be releasing two albums this year. The 20/20 Experience came out in March and yesterday Timberlake confirmed that that he’ll be releasing a sequel on September 30.

“With an average track length of seven minutes and not a banger in sight, The 20/20 Experience isn’t likely to dominate pop radio and teenage house parties in the way that its predecessors did,” Adam Lewis reported when he reviewed the album for FL. “But what Timberlake has crafted is in some ways a more intriguing prospect – a modern pop record imbued with the same effortlessness as Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On and D’Angelo’s Voodoo.”

Shame the Annandale's closed down. He'd be perfect for that place.

he sold 60 000 tickets in Sydney last time with ease. kinda worried this tour might end up in stadiums :S

already conceded to the fact that decent seats to an arena show will be astronomical.

Yea, wouldn't it great? I can just picture him tearing the place apart. Crowd surfing and motorboating chicks tits while performing Cry Me A River. Jumping on top of the speakers and smashing the roof tiles with his bare fist; then staring intensely out across the crowd while blood drips down his arm as he proclaims: "I'm bringing sexy back."

Then, later in the night, he'll suddenly look up towards the crowd, sweat pouring, and say... "gentlemen, good night. Ladies, good morning."
