Liam Gallagher names ‘new’band
Wed 26th May, 2010 in Local News
Liam Gallagher and his Oasis bandmates Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock will now be known as Beady Eye.
The group is recording an album with producer Steve Lillywhite (The Rolling Stones, U2) and planing to release a debut single in October.
Liam had been quoted after Oasis broke up as saying “If we don’t come up with something else by the time we’re ready to release the album it’ll be Oasis. I’m not going to call myself something ridiculous just for the sake of it.”
