Peats Ridge Sustainable Arts and Music Festival will return to Glenworth Valley this New Year’s Eve with a distinct lack of dickheads and one very relaxed lineup.
With a focus on creating a total experience for all, Peats Ridge hosts art installations, kooky themed venues, multimedia, theatre, dance, cabaret, comedy, circus, and much, much more, all winding along the riverbank and dotted through a unique event site.
The festival also prides itself as a world leader in sustainable events and remains family orientated with a full children’s program available. The Peats Ridge experience is about much more than the music, as the festival’s founder Matt Grant told FasterLouder in 2009, “What makes a festival is when the sun goes down and the place really comes alive. You’re creating an alternate reality for people at a festival – an opportunity to step out of their everyday lives.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am on Monday 20 August 2012 at www.peatsridgefestival.com.au
