This is it, the Princess One Point Five Sydney Album Launch.
Pre-bought ticket holders (up to 30, available from the venue) will get a free copy of the Age Melbourne magazine album of the month, “What Doesn’t Kill You” (vinyl or CD), not to mention a killer show from Melbourne’s “Purveyors of Pop”, and sublime Sydney acts Shady Lane and Winter People.
P1.5 are a truly unique songwriting team, swinging between lush ambient soundscapes, heartfelt lullabies, and straight up rock and roll tunes.
Their strength is catchy hooks and well crafted pop songs with an exciting and intimate live show.
Since inception they have toured nationally with Josh Pyke, won the Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards for music, made it to the top 25 of the Australian Music Prize, and the current single, “Today”, is enjoying healthy rotation on JJJ, and community radio nationally, as well as the video clip enjoying steady air time on Rage and MTV.
