From beneath the safety of a long fringe, our antagonist protagonist ‘uh’s’ and ‘yeah’s’ his way through the exploits of his band, giving you the intimacy of an overheard conversation in the comfort of your own phones.
The Bedroom Philosopher may have achieved the perfect blend between humour and music, his tighter-than-your-jeans band of hipster slayers The Awkwardstra, laying down a surefire shoegaze rock bed, the relentless 4/4 chug, driving the song forward on a one way route to cooltown.
