Eddie Cochran, like his good friend Buddy Holly, both were charged by the advent of rock and roll and wanted to take it in their own directions.
Here in Sydney we plan to follow through with the interpretation of Eddie’s ominously stated autograph “Don’t Forget Me’…It has been fifty two years since Eddie Cochran toured the east coast of Australia. On the night of the death of Eddie Cochran outside Bath in the UK, 50 years to the date, we are celebrating Eddie Cochran’s music with the best bands that the East Coast of Australia has. The prerequisite was simple, that they are Eddie fans. The rest was pretty easy really. All the bands interpret the music in their own way, some in an authentic style, the others in their own unique musical interpretation
It will be a night that is not to be forgotten…
