Chopdog Promotions will present its first annual Ska Weekender later this year on the 5th and 6th of June. The Weekender will see various ska and reggae bands from Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, and Wollongong and join forces for two massive shows in Sydney.

The first, on the 5th of June, will be a nine band line up @ the wall (ex bald faced stag) in Leichhardt. Kicking off at 5PM it will showcase some of the best local bands going around at the moment including The King Cannons, Chris Duke and the Royals, Backy Skank, Cohen Heart, The Resignators, Los Capitanes, Son of Dad, Madonna and Steppn’ Razor.

Then, as if that wasn’t a big enough dose of ska for you, the very next day, at 12PM, The Steel City Allstars, The Resginators and Sniperival will be performing albums in full from the likes of Less than Jake (Hello Rockview), The Mighty Mighty Bosstones (Millennium Collection) and Strung Out (Twisted by Design) on a cruise of Sydney’s Harbour.

Tickets for both shows are available via Qjump.com.au and you can pick up a combined special ticket price for just $33, which will get you into both shows or alternatively, buy individual tickets for $15 and $25 respectively.

The price of the cruise includes all you can eat pizza and a beautiful three and a half hour nautical voyage around Sydney. Tickets to the cruise are limited and by pre sale only so get in quick to avoid disappointment.
