Sonic Cathedral is an irregular night that plays music from the more interesting end of the indie spectrum. Too many so called indie nights play from the same playlist, sticking to safe, radio friendly artists and big hits.

Whilst there is a place for that, wouldn’t it be more interesting to go to a night and hear songs from the likes of PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Brian Jonestown massacre, Ride, Spiritualized and Primal scream?

We’ll play some more mainstream indie tunes as well as it’s not an experiment in disappearing up our own musical holes, but you probably won’t hear Mr Brightside….

Everyone moans that there isn’t a great little indie night in Sydney anymore, so here it is. Invite your musically savvy friends and see you there.
