Description:

Barfly Promotions Presents a night of Aussie Punk at an iconic Aussie Pub.

Featuring: Garry David, The Baddies, Dead Rabids and Nudist Colonies of the World.

Garry David’s origins are enmeshed in the wholesale support of some of their own previous incarnations, ie. Whopping Big Naughty, Crow, Diolene, to name a few, a collection of local ‘do it yourself’, punk/post punk bands, who have littered the stage in the last few decades, and continue to do so. In 2002 Garry David released a bunch of songs in the form of an album ‘Australia’s Nelson Mandela’ as a tribute to the very person they are named after – Garry David, a Melbourne criminal, renowned for his self-mutilating deeds, and being a foe of Chopper Mark Read. Catch Garry David while all members are still on the same continent this band plays for a few months only each year.

The Baddies play Aussie balls to the wall punk like no other band in Sydney, variously described by the music press as "one of Sydney’s criminally underrated bands", "a three piece threshing machine", and "Sydney’s unassuming kings of punk".

Dead Rabids in their own words are like the Monkees on seriously bad drugs! Fronted by Bob Short of early Sydney punk band Filth.

Nudist Colonies of the World are new to the Sydney scene, they are a nude, rock, punk, melodic three piece out to have a good time!
