The 1st of many Summer Rhythm Festivals will be held at picturesque Goolabri Resort, a 240 acre bush property on 13 December 2009.
Goolabri is 9 minutes north of Canberra in the Sutton district.
Summer Rhythm Festival is being created with the vision of bringing talented and diverse musicians to the region to play alongside our own, and participate in community minded event that will promote the arts, sustainability and down to earth revelry.
The festival is presented by Strange Hours and CMC with the aim of attracting a wide variety of people, ages and communities. This year the festival will be run as a not for profit event in order to raise money for a victim of a critical spinal injury sustained during a competitive motorcycle sports event.
The proceeds are necessary to enable his familyâ€Ââ„¢s stay in Sydney to assist his recovery full time, with any remaining funds going towards the Spinal Injuries Association.
The event will be on Sunday 13th December from 12pm till 11pm.
Tickets $39
All proceeds are going to Tim Markcrow, his family and the Spinal Injuries Association.
