Proudly presented by Bleeker Street, Mahli’s Living Room is the first annual benefit concert to help raise money for Mahli Cooperâ€ÂÂÂâ„¢s ongoing care and Youngcareâ€ÂÂÂâ„¢s vision to build dignified care facilities for young adults with 24 hour care needs, meaning young people with disability may no longer have to call the confines of hospital walls and aged care facilities home.

The Vanguard, a venue paused in time at the heart of Sydneyâ€ÂÂÂâ„¢s Cosmopolitan hub of Newtown, will play host to the Mahliâ€ÂÂÂâ„¢s Living Room Benefit Concert, supporting Mahli Cooper and Youngcare, and will be held on Wednesday 18th November, 2009.

Providing the evenings entertainment will be Passenger (UK), Katie Noonan, Serenik and Boy & Bear, coming together for an intimate acoustic performance to raise valuable funds and awareness for Youngcare and Mahli Cooper.

Front–man Mike Rosenberg is embarking on our shores to join us for this spectacular evening. Hailing from the UK, Passenger is a singer/songwriter reared on Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Van Morrison.

Katie Noonan
After building a vessel of new songs with her new band â€ÂÂÂËœThe Captainsâ€ÂÂÂâ„¢ Katie Noonan is joining Mahliâ€ÂÂÂâ„¢s Living Room for an intimate solo performance.

With their alternative rock sound, this Sydney–based act have been going from strength to strength since 2006.

Boy & Bear
Boy & Bear is a Sydney based band built on the collaboration of three front men of separate bands.
