The solo-project of multi-instrumentalist Owen Ashworth draws heavily from the bright sounds of 80s synth-pop to the dark and honest lyricism of Death Cab For Cutie.
His sound is characterised by produced beats, cheap electronic keyboards, glitchy drum machine rhythms, battery operated synths and frank storytelling lyrics. Ashworth started CFTPA after he dropped out of film school in 1997 and has recently released his sophomore effort Vs. Children.
