Sydney outfit Decoder Ring release their new album They Blind the Stars, and The Wild Team through Inertia Recordings on Saturday July 11.
The album, which was recorded with American producer Scott Colburn (Animal Collective, Arcade Fire, John Fahey, Yeasayer), is the conclusion of a journey that began with the 2004 multi award-winning soundtrack to the Australian film Somersault, and was swiftly followed by the critically acclaimed Fractions in 2005.
To celebrate the album’s release, the band will be performing at the 2009 Splendour in the Grass festival, followed by a series of launches along east coast Australia throughout August and September.
