Description:
The UK’s finest proponents of pop-punk funtimes, the spectacularly-named Abdoujaparov return to Australia for the umpteenth time this March, for a tour full of Coopers-fueled fun and catchy-as-hell tunes.
For the WA, SA, NSW, and Victorian legs of their tour, the famous Les Carter (Carter USM etc) and his wingman Richie Crockford will team up with Perth’s own Peter Bell and D.Niven (zxspecky) for their full live-band performances.
Fremantle’s turn occurs on 19 March at The Railway Hotel when Abdoujaparov team up with the finest in Perth punk rock: Raw Nerve, Chainsaw Hookers, Zxspecky and Montage Of Jesus. Entry is a ridiculously cheap 10 buckeroos and the show runs from 8pm – 12am.
Raw Nerve are about to begin filming video clip for the song "Paralysed", taken from the EP of the same name and have a bunch of new material in their set. The bastard progeny of The Homicides & Python, Raw Nerve are pleased to announce they will be supporting Punk legends THE VIBRATORS on Sunday June 20th at The Rosemount Hotel. In other News, the Chainsaw Hookers are putting the final touches on the artwork for their "First Blood" EP and recently filmed a video clip for the song "Christine", they are launching at the rock n roll / punk / metal / hardcore mini-fest known as BLOODSTOCK. Bloodstock 3 will take place between May 28 – 30, hitting Perth, Fremantle and finishing with an all ages show.
