MO DJ – Cassette vendor along the station road in Bamako by day and DJ in the Malian capital by
night. He is one of the first to remix Malian music or African music in general, with the available means and thanks to a small rhythm box, which has lent its name to his genre of music, and which is set to revolutionise Western dance floors: Djembeni (literally small djembe)
DJ Mo-Laudi is a pioneering DJ/MC with a style that is years ahead of the game. Mixing up ethnic/tropical vibes with his unique combination of electro and lyricism, his groundbreaking performances have taken him across the globe bringing his eclectic musical mixture to grateful party-goers everywhere.
