Description:
2010 will mark the 21st anniversary of the Nannup Music Fstival in its current location, but considering that it had its beginnings in the Southwest Folk Festival, this has to be one of the oldest festivals of its kind in Australia.
The first Nannup Festival had a budget of $700 back in 1989 and although it has grown in reputation and size over the years, its refreshing to find one that’s still about the music and not about getting as much money off you as possible.
You can buy a ticket (www.nannupmusicfestival.org) for the four day weekend for less than the price of a BDO ticket. Gotta love those hippies.
Its on the Labour Day long weekend Feb 26th to Mar 1st, and there will be over 200 artists in total, but here’s the lineup so far:

Children under 12 are free and anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied through the gates by a parent.
