Interstellar space travel will be within arm’s reach of one and all when local three-piece Midnight Juggernauts launch their highly anticipated
debut album Dystopia on August 4 2007.
According to the presser Dystopia is an album that is cinematic in its scope -serving up the the sound of a band exploring time and space with John Carpenter in the director’s chair and Georgio Moroder compiling the soundtrack.
To launch the album, and celebrate its release Midnight Juggernauts will embark on an extensive national tour throughout August and September with the raw punk intensity of Melbourne’s Damn Arms and Canberra’s Young & Restless also in tow.
With Daniel Stricker recently joining the band on drums, Midnight Juggernauts are currently preparing for a tour of the UK, Europe and China in June and July, where they’ll play numerous high profile show including London club institution Fabric and the Eurockeenes Festival in Belfort (France) with AIR, TV On The Radio and Arcade Fire. Midnight Juggernauts will then return home for the release of Dystopia in August and one of the most exciting local tours of the year. Tickets are on sale from June 18.
