Description:

Once the sole province of church bands, Ron is re-calibrating the infrastructure of the small pub rock show. It means no on-stage guitar amps, digital drums and all instruments plugged directly into the sound system, so that your ears won’t take a beating, and you’ll hear the singing clearly like a lounge room hi-f…i mix.

With a cool new avant-gardening line-up featuring Dean Richards on guitar (Whirlywirld, Equal Local), James Earthenware (the man of a thousand Casio keyboards), Kevin Paine (original drummer from Ron Rude and the Unforgettables) alongside Renaissance founders Corrina Maule (violin) and Anne Bowman (bass), the quiet stage will be launched with a weird and wonderful musical experience.

Steeped in post-punk heritage, this historic evening adds the firm presence of Harry Howard’s NDE (featuring Dave Graney and Clare Moore) and openers that are not-to-be missed, the Saddests, with Hungry Ghost legend J.P. Shilo.
