Description:

NSW grunge rockers Absence of State will be coming to the Royal Exchange Hotel on Saturday 16th October. This show will be part of their exciting “10 Tonnes of Rock” Victorian Tour with Canberra band Scaramouche. Absence of State exploded onto the scene in early 2009 and quickly became known for their high energy performances and new approach to the grunge sound. Despite a few line-up changes the band has toured the country extensively over the last 12 months playing many shows around NSW, QLD, VIC and ACT. Scaramouche originated in Canberra, but now have members who live in Melbourne as well, they have already recorded an exceptional ep, raised $1000s for charity, and cemented themselves as a unique and outstanding new take on classic heavy rock. Absence of State and Scaramouche will be joined by local Traralgon bands Fear for Thought and The Stoned Crowes for this high energy night at the Royal Exchange which promises to rock very hard indeed.
