Perth rockers Will Stoker and The Embers finally make their way over to Melbourne to launch their self-titled debut album at Melbourne’s rejuvenated home of rock ‘n’ roll The Tote on Friday July 30th. Joining the WA quintet is a fantastic line-up of guests including Dead River Deeps, Mildura two-piece rock ‘n’ roll sensations Jackson Firebird and the awesome, hard-hitting Level Spirits.
After spending much of 2009 writing material for the new album Will Stoker & The Embers headed into Underground studios in Perth to lay down 11 tracks that make for one of this year’s most assured debut releases. Mining influences from classic Zeppelinesque rock through to rollicking bar room country punk and blues, Will Stoker & The Embers have built themselves a huge reputation over West as one of the most exciting young bands on the scene.
