Mother & Son play old time garage blues. It’s loud. It’s dirty. Leaving Wollongong, NSW, for their first tour of Melbourne, promoting their Debut Album, Mother & Son will be playing with Melbourne party rock’n’rollers, The Cheats! Another Garage Rock Two-Piece stomping on their home turf, The Cheats are gonna bring the good times with em, and make one hell of a racket after their recent album release for this, their 100th show. Walking the line between remorse and joy, Ben Birchall and the Corrections take cues from Elvis Costello, Dylan and The Kinks and make some beautiful, miserable pop tunes to sweeten the night up. Kicking the night off will be local garage rockers Racing Daphne, set to unload some emotional baggage in their energetic set!
