Hundred Fire Management presents Friday Night Fire, a series of shows at Edinburgh Castle on the last Friday of every month. Featuring some of the best independent acts Melbourne has to offer, the nights will encompass a variety of genres and artists from month to month, highlighting the distinct and rich talent of this great musical city.

Friday Night Fire kicks off on Friday May 29 with an extremely gifted line up – The Tiger And Me, Fee Brown And The Highwater and Cilla Jane.

These acts have a number of shows under their belts, including a variety of national and international supports and festival appearances, playing to devoted and ever growing crowds across Melbourne and beyond. They have each garnered significant critical praise for both their recordings and their live shows, and hey come together for this special night to present a taste of the very best this thriving scene has to offer.

The Tiger and Me captivates audiences with folk longings, country thoughts, gypsy madness and cabaret moments. Think red wine, plush velvet and a dimly-lit smoky cabaret bar in the 1940s; envisage chaos, calm and a spark that dances between the music and a provocative set of lyrics.

Somewhere along the red dirt border of alt country, Americana and folk, Fee Brown an the Highwater have created a unique and eclectic sound. Their music transports you with rich imagery, rolling rhythms and intricate melodies.

Melbourne singer songwriter Cilla Jane combines folk style guitar and enchanting vocals to create a captivating sound. Accompanied by haunting cello lines, intricate acoustic guitar and gorgeous harmonies, the band will take you away into a dreamlike world.
