Scott Burns
After someshow surviving hundreds of freestyle sessions and battles around the country, Scott Burns went on to collaborate with some of Australia’s finest producers (Chasm, M-Phazes, Jase) for his debut album Day 1. Awarded Local Album of The Year for 2008 in 3D World, the album saw Scott Burns perform around the country multiple times as well as receiving airplay on Triple J and Rage. He is currently busy working on his second album but has
taken time out of the studio to bring his unique brand of lyricism to Canberra’s Transit Bar – renowned for his energetic and often sponteneous live performances – this is a show not to be missed!
Alikeminds
Alikeminds is a four man outfit from Canberra focused on delivering their own brand of witty, introspective and thought provoking hip hop. Showcasing a diverse style, the Alikeminds sound is layered with samples from classic funk, soul, reggae and latin music. The group has been brewing over a release for sometime now and is on the verge of unleashing their unique flavour upon the unsuspecting masses!
Gabi and LouLou
Hailing from Sydney’s Inner West, hip-hop duo Gabi & LouLou is
(unsurprisingly) made up of MC Gabi and MC/DJ LouLou. With a healthy respect for a good time and a love of fun and uplifting hip-hop, these women aim to put on a show that gets you in a party mood.
