In support of a new album, Pointing Ray Guns at Pagans, DARREN HANLON embarks on a 15 date nationwide tour. With band in tow and a recorded compendium of b-sides and rarities, expect live airings of fan favourites old and new. From his first ever recorded song ‘Funpark Fugitives’ to the most recent limited-edition single ‘Electric Skeleton’, a collection of flipsides and compilation tracks spanning a 10-year career will be dusted down to sit alongside their more established counterparts.

With help from Melbourne’s Pikelet on drums and Cory Gray from Portland, Darren will finish off a busy 12 month period of overseas touring and video clip making with Hollywood actors!

Filling the special guest slot is JEFFREY LEWIS, the anti-folk troubadour and comic book artist from New York City, who tours Australia for the first time. Darren has been trying to get him to over to Australia since first seeing him wow the crowd at a festival in the UK a few years ago. Performing solo, Jeffery will bring his unique mixture of acoustic punk songs to enchant you. Look out for impromptu comic book readings and hand drawn flip pad presentations within the set along with the odd poem or two. Not to be missed.
