RIDE WITH THE ROCKERS 2008
Please find enclosed details for the Ton-Up-Boys motorcycle club annual “Ride with the Rockers”. This is the 12th annual rally for our club that has been established since the early 90’s.
This year the day will celebrate the Australian launch of the US Café Racer magazine – which will be available on the day (or thereafter at Motociclo,
St Peters), and also celebrating the ACE CAFÉ London 70th anniversary.
The day will begin at Café Love #3 Camperdown, then for a casual short ride up to Brooklyn Pub via the Old Road, for a social gathering and lunch. The afternoon Rockers Day gig will continue at the Harp Hotel, Tempe, from around 4.30pm featuring – “8 Ball Baby” (who reformed especially for this event), and also the return of “Johnny Gretsch & the wasted ones”.
In between bands DJ’ing will be carried out by greaser “Little Bop”.
– There will be a $10 door charge – All welcome (including children)
This day is traditionally held on the same day & in conjunction with London’s Ace Café “Ride with the Rockers” in September. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we had to put this years’ event back a month to October.
