Following on from April’s triumphant return to our shores, WILCO will present a selection from their vast and excellent catalogue as well as tunes from this years outstanding, SKY BLUE SKY.
WILCO will play their own shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne as well as a rare festival appearance at the East Coast Blues & Roots Festival in Byron Bay.
WILCO live, as those who saw the April dates will testify, are quite simply spell binding. When the masterful lyrics and delivery of frontman Jeff Tweedy are combined with the guitar wizardry of Nels Cline, the beat of Glenn Kotche, John Stirratt’s smooth bass and the multi instrumentation of Pat Sansone and Mickael Jorgensen, folks, we have something special going on.
