Testament’s latest studio release, The Formation of Damnation, has just been named 2008 ALBUM OF THE YEAR AT METAL HAMMER GOLDEN GODS AWARDS. Testament beat out the other worthy contenders in this category: Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, Children Of Bodom and Down. The album has cracked the Billboard Top 200 for the second consecutive week, holding strong at #150 after debuting at #59 as well as featuring on MTV’s 52/52.
