Duncan Graham And His Co-Accused have been released from their winter-long sentence in a medium-security prison farm (actually a recording studio where they’ve been cutting the next album), and they’re back in town to re-offend.
One musical crime-scene is at a great acoustic venue/cafe in Central Victoria (DIG CAFE, NEWSTEAD); the other is at the rockingest bar/cantina in Melbourne (IDGAFF, ABBOTSFORD).
For these two shows, they are blessed with the presence of their Sydney gang-member, Paul Huntingford, on piano, organ and drums. Both shows feature two sets from The Co-Accused. The IDGAFF show also features mystery guest performer PINTO, with his moody acoustic tunes. New tunes and new attitude guaranteed, but the ol’ Co-Accused magic hasn’t changed.
The shows start after the sun sets and five lazy bucks gets you in. Great food is available at both venues.
”...a phenomenal talent. I cannot get over the songs…amazed, amazed, amazed” – Van Walker
“Where Billy Bragg may rely on lyrical intensity to carry a social or political comment, Graham’s word-heavy work has a more poetical undercurrent” – Paul Smith, Sydney Morning Herald
“Duncan is awesome and one of the most underapprciated songwriters in Australia (along with Perry Keyes). This guy should be HUGE” – Christian Brimo, Liveguide
