They’ve already played countless shows around the country including international support for J-Live, Eddan, Ugly Duckling, People Under the Stairs, Jehst, Supernatural and Looptroop. As well as local acts Pegz, Brad Strut, Bias B, Muph n Plutonic, Funkoars and The Optimen just to name a few.

Last year Illy released his Mixtape which included guest spots from ARIA award nominee Phrase as well as cuts provided by The Business man, DJ Flagrant. He has toured with Phrase as support for the Snoop Dogg Australian tour. There is a lot of buzz around this young MC, so do not miss out on this opportunity to catch him live at the Espy this coming October.
Punters will be given a very special treat as acclaimed Australian Hip Hop veteran Reason has confirmed that on the night he will showcase his latest material from his new album, “The Tides are Turning” out through Obese Records. It will be a short set so make sure you get down early to hear a very much anticipated new album from one of Australia’s most seasoned and revered emcees.
Lotus is a young female MC with a gift of delivering soulful/funk-fuelled songs that will have even the biggest tight arse shaking a limb! She is currently recording her new mixtape and is joined on stage by DJ Bidla who will also be in charge of DJ duties for the whole night.
Doors open from 9 till late. Have ten bucks ready, grab a drink and settle in for an evening of Quality Australian Hip Hop, as we linger on the Brink of Summer.
