When Canadian twins, Tegan and Sara came to Australia last year to launch their fifth studio record The Con, fans snapped up tickets so fast the shows sold out months in advance.
In 2008, the girls will return down under to play a run of summer festival dates as well as a few side shows; word to the fans is to get in quick this time to avoid disappointment!
The Con gained similar acclaim to its predecessor, 2004’s So Jealous, with the New York Times calling it one of the best albums of the year and “a good record to obsess over”.
Tegan and Sara will bring their good mates, Brisbane indie pop duo An Horse along for the ride as support, with sensational underground four piece from Sydney, The Jezabels opening each show. An Horse have already supported Tegan and Sara through the USA, UK and Canada.
Tickets for the shows go on sale September 11th.
