In recent months Little Birdy have bunkered down in a Melbourne rehearsal studio to work on new songs for their third studio album.
Happy with their efforts, and prior to pushing the record button on the new album, the band are letting their hair down with a one-off gig at the HiFi Bar on Saturday July 26. The evening promises to be a melodic treat with Little Birdy playing some of their brand new tunes along with many of their old favourites.
Melbournians, Skipping Girl Vinegar (www.skippinggirlvinegar.com), will also be sharing in the night’s festivities. The old world, alt-acoustic four piece received much love from the likes of Triple J, RRR and PBS on the release of their debut single late 2007. The band are now putting the finishing touches on their debut album which is due for release in the coming months.
Also joining Little Birdy are local favourites Dash & Will (www.dashandwill.com) who will be celebrating the release of their debut single “Pick You Up” out in July.
