After leaving crowds reeling on their ‘We Are Back’ tour in April, precocious party-starters Pnau are gearing up for Splendour and three select sideshows.
Since releasing their third and most commercially viable album last year, Peter Mayes and Nick Littlemore have become bona-fide pop stars. Their colourful, hedonistic live show was the talk of the Big Day Out Boiler Room in 2008, and it’s sure to have the same effect on Splendour.
The August sideshows celebrate the release of new single, Embrace, and see Pnau stepping up to the kind of halls that scream “WE’VE MADE IT!” Coming along for the ride are pop specialists and fellow Splendour drawcards Operator Please, with Littlemore’s bro Sam La More spinning between sets.
