In their short time on both record and stage, New Zealand’s CUT OFF YOUR HANDS have created a slew of downright memorable music. From the romantic naivety of chart buster ‘Oh Girl’ to the speeding pop-paean ‘Still Fond’, the four-piece have proven they’ve got what it takes to grab the world by its collective scruff and shake them into spinning, lovesick action.
It’s exciting news then that this July will give Australian audiences the chance to hear COYH’s brand new songs in the flesh, as the band return with the 1st single ‘Expectations’ taken from their debut album, ‘You and I’ – set for release in October. Rammed full of cleverly chorused melodies, sparkling guitars, harmonic bass lines and a backbone of creative drum rhythms, ‘Expectations’ shows just how close the pop crown is from their grip.
