Whilst Canberra’s Thoroughbred Park usually plays host to the ponies on Saturday afternoons, Saturday November 17 will see it play host to Canberra’s newest music festival Trackside.
Trackside is a licensed all ages event featuring over eighteen local and interstate acts on two stages. It will run from 12:00pm to 12:00am at Thoroughbred Park on Northbourne Avenue.
It will be the biggest all ages event to hit Canberra since the Satellite Festivals back in the day. The lineup is huge, with the Hilltop Hoods headlining, supported by the likes of The Butterfly Effect, Gotye, Kisschasy, Clare Bowditch, Behind Crimson Eyes, The Cops, Koolism, Something with Numbers, Young and Restless, Dardanelles, Soft Tigers, Horsell Common, The Basics and Hancock Basement, with more to be announced.
It is THE biggest thing to hit the nations capital since Parliament House. Tickets are on sale from August 23rd from moshtix, Landspeed and Stocks. For those of you who whine about nothing good ever happening in Canberra, pull your fingers out and buy a ticket. This will be huge.
