Sarah Blasko is undoubtedly a showstopper: a distinguished musician who writes and produces her own music. She is a formidable recording artist who has received numerous accolades and has sold well in excess of 100,000 records. She is a stunning performer who – whether at a cosy candlelit dinner venue, a remote country hotel or a big city theatre – commands the unwavering attention of her audience; and an entrancing vocalist who bids audiences hang upon her every note, whether delivering one of her own unique compositions or interpreting a revered classic.
Currently completing an arduous 30-date tour of the farthest corners of regional Australia, Blasko will head off to New York in September to perform a residency at hip Lower East Side bar The Living Room to promote her album’s release in the USA, again through Low Altitude records. Sarah will then return to Australia in October for the Showstopper Tour: a tour named in honour of her well-loved choral ballad and of the performance she intends to give. Having most recently toured the major cities with a string ensemble, she will this time be joined onstage by her full rocking band for her biggest venues yet. This will be the last national tour for her sophomore album, What the Sea Wants, the Sea Will Have.
Sarah Blasko will be joined by one man band, Liam Finn, the son of the legendary Neil Finn. Liam is forging his own path in the musical landscape with his unique pop songs and organic approach to recording and writing. Liam will be playing at all dates except those in Western Australia and Tasmania. Special guests to be announced.
