They’ve been touted as the next big thing since way back in 2006 and we’ve been waiting patiently for them to deliver something more than an EP. Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is finally over as the Mercy Arms hit the road to show off tracks from their self-titled debut album.
The Sydney quartet has had their fair share of dramas with record labels, but finally seem settled releasing their album independently. With a plethora of quirky press shots under their belt and a live show with more tights than American Apparel, the Mercy Arms boys will put on a show to be remembered.
The ferocious drumming of Julian Sudek, intricate basslines of Ash Moss, singer Thom Moore who feels every note and the gracious guitar torture of Kirin J Callinan all combine to create a hypnotic rhythm and deafening fuzz which has become a signature of their live show.
