There’s not a lot that hasn’t been said about Shihad over the years. However, it seems the guys have outdone themselves on the new album Beautiful Machine.
Finally striking the a perfect balance between their power and groove, and their hereto threatened mastery of melody and lyric, Shihad’s Beautiful Machine may yet prove to be the band’s most accomplished recording to date. Recorded in Melbourne and mixed by master engineer Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Depeche Mode, U2, Smashing Pumpkins), Beautiful Machine is set for release May 17th.
Known for their incendiary live performances, Shihad take to the clubs this winter on a short sharp tour. New cuts from the album including One Will Hear The Other, Rule The World, and the anthemic Vampires will add yet another dimension and layer to an already impressive repertoire.
Accompanying Shihad on the Beautiful Machine tour will be recent SOYA and Triple J Unearthed winners Young And Restless and up and coming alt radio faves Calling All Cars.
