After teasing us last year with their Attack That Gentleman single, Streetlight will release their debut EP next month. Since winning last year’s Next Big Thing competition, the Hills sextet has been turning heads and raising eyebrows at a seemingly endless string of live shows around WA. Recorded at Bergerk! Studios by Al Smith and mastered by Don Bartley at 301 studios, Streetlight have spent the past 12 months perfecting their debut. They’ll launch the disc at Amplifier Bar on June 23, with details of a national tour coming soon. Support from the Amplifier gig will come from Adelaide’s No Through Road as well as Sugar Army, The Dee Dee Dums and Blackmilk.
