The timetable for this monstrosity is going to be sooooooo shit.

From what I remember, Metallica will be clashing with All Time Low and Paramore, so all the other stages will be pretty much empty.
That said, I really hope Fucked Up get a decent slot this time, rather than being on during the headliner.

Bummer. i would have liked to see Paramore.

I think they Paramore are going to be scheduled for the last hour of Metallica's set, so it could be worth it.

i just want Metallica to play Ride The Lightning in full at Soundwave.

I was fortunate enough to see Ride The Lightning live last time I saw Metallica however I am yet to see my favourite Four Horsemen.

ah, yea I didn't read it properly only got Fade to Black, Ride the Lightning and Fight Fire With Fire from memory, not even For Whom the Bells Toll . We did get Orion for the first time in along time though, that was immense!

Really? More tickets? Soundwave Sydney has been too crowded last 2 years, I hope this isn't the case again next year.

Apparently they're using more of Olympic Park this year. Even if they increase the area, to my knowledge this year will have around 10,000-15,000 more people than last year. So unless they increase the area by a massive amount, I can't imagine the density being any lower.

That's just what I've read here and there. Can anyone confirm?

So I got a ticket for Soundwave when they first went on sale and was super excited but then I gave it to my brother and was a bit sad that I wouldn't be going but now I have another ticket and I will be going after all so I'm excited again.

I bought tickets to Brisbane this morning and received confirmation page saying the payment was pending. So do they process the payments offline to minimise web site load, and send an email later today to verify you have secured tickets?

According to the ANZ Stadium Members email i just received. ANZ Stadium is now being using by Soundwave in Sydney.

Based on a few AJ tweets, it looks like Metallica and Blink-182 will clash (in Sydney and Brisbane at least). If that's true, it will really suck for any other band playing at that time.

^ Or, it will rule. Think about it: Fucked Up or The Chariot or someone or other playing for an hour while the two absolute worst crowds of the festival are elsewhere? Bliss to me!

Fucked Up would be an awesome band to put against Metallica and Blink.
